ThaiFriendly is a dating service for adults aged 18 and over. It is run by Oxixo Private Ltd., a company registered in Singapore. Children are not allowed on ThaiFriendly. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This covers our website, our Android and iOS apps, and anything members arrange through them.
These standards explain what is not allowed, how to report it, and what we do when we find it. They apply alongside our Terms of Use and Community Guidelines.
Adults only
- You must be 18 or older to join ThaiFriendly.
- If we find that a member is under 18, we remove the account.
- Photos on profiles and in chat must never show anyone under 18, even your own child, or yourself as a child.
What is not allowed
Any of the following leads to a permanent ban:
- Sharing, asking for, or linking to sexual images or videos of anyone under 18.
- Seeking or offering a child for sex, dating, marriage, photos or money, including asking a member whether they know a young girl or boy.
- Sexual talk about children, or sexualising children in any way, including "jokes" and role-play.
- Sexual talk with anyone you believe is under 18, or pretending to be under 18.
- Grooming: trying to contact, befriend or meet a child, directly or through an adult such as a parent or relative.
- Threatening to share sexual images of a child (sextortion), trafficking a child, or helping anyone else to do any of these things.
These bans are never lifted on appeal.
How to report
- In the app or on the website, open the member's profile or your chat with them, tap Report, and choose the reason that fits best. Give as much detail as you can.
- If the member has deleted their profile or blocked you, use our support form and include their username.
- You can also report something a ThaiFriendly member did outside ThaiFriendly, for example on WhatsApp or Line.
- Anyone can report, including parents and people who are not members: email childsafety@oxixo.com.
- We never tell a member that they have been reported, or who reported them.
- Please do not screenshot, save or forward a sexual image of a child, even to report it. Report the profile or chat to us and we will preserve what is needed.

What we do
- Trained moderators review reports, and automated tools help us find content that breaks these standards. A trained moderator reviews every case before we report it.
- We remove the content and permanently ban the accounts involved. We also take steps to stop banned people from joining again.
- We keep the information about the incident securely, so that it is available to law enforcement.
- When we find child sexual abuse material, or evidence that a child is being sought, offered or put in danger, we report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), which shares reports with the police in the country concerned.
- We respond to lawful requests from law enforcement and cooperate with their investigations.
For law enforcement
Law enforcement officers can contact us at childsafety@oxixo.com. Please include:
- your name, agency, official email address and case reference;
- the site (thaifriendly.com) and the member's username or profile link;
- the information you need, and the legal basis for the request.
We can preserve account information on request while you obtain formal legal process. We handle requests in line with the laws that apply to us, including Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act. If a child faces a risk of death or serious harm, put EMERGENCY in the subject line.
Laws we follow
We comply with the child safety laws that apply to us, including the laws of Singapore, where Oxixo Private Ltd. is based, and we work with the authorities in the countries where our members live.
Australia: if you are in Australia and not happy with how we handled your report, you can complain to the eSafety Commissioner.
